Market on the Square ExpandedMarket on the Square in Campus Square is now carrying entire line of organic, sustainable products.
Market on the Square, a convenience store in Campus Square, has expanded their inventory at the requests of students. Over 150 square feet of retail space is now home to organic snack foods, environmentally friendly cleaning products and health/beauty aids, and sustainable school supplies, such as folders and notebooks made from recycled paper.
The new items arrived mid-summer and are currently available for purchase. The addition is part of the “Your Bookstore” campaign through Barnes and Noble. Steve Schatten, manager of the bookstore, says they had numerous requests for the items.
“We frequently have students asking for organic trail mixes, greener cleaning products, or something else that falls into this category, so we decided it made sense to dedicate a good portion of our floor space to house these requested items,” he says.
Additionally, Schatten says that a $20 purchase of these items during the first week of classes (August 24th – Aug 28th) will get you a free Barnes and Noble reusable Eco Tote (while supplies last).###
