Bring OneCard Program to Lehigh
Lehigh University Purchasing Services and Controller’s Office have officially implemented the OneCard program in an effort to provide a convenient, efficient, paperless program at Lehigh.
This transition to the OneCard program allows users to charge travel expenses and eliminates the need for faculty and staff to expend personal funds when travelling. Also, with the convenience of the OneCard paperless system, Lehigh University is now able to completely eliminate paper-based reimbursement.
“We are proud to bring this innovation to the Lehigh Campus,” says Purchasing Coordinator Brenda Bachman. “In Purchasing Services, we are always looking to advance the technology and eco-friendliness of the University and OneCard is the perfect program for that.”
To date, approximately 1,300 faculty and staff are enrolled in the new system and have received personalized training or have received instruction on accessing the online training program that is offered. Our Implementation Team is working with business managers and department heads across campus to finalize the enrollment and mandatory training. We are pleased that the faculty and staff have embraced this important new initiative at Lehigh.
