Order Photos from Printing and Mailing Services
Printing and Mailing Services has partnered with a local photo lab to enable the Lehigh community to upload their photos and receive them via Campus Mail or directly to a student mailbox.
Lehigh University and Dan’s Camera City have partnered up to provide the Lehigh community with a neat technological perk- digital photo uploading and print ordering. The site is open to anyone with a Lehigh mailbox, including faculty, staff, and student with mailboxes in the Ulrich Student Center. Student without mailboxes can also opt to pick the photos up on site at Dan’s Camera City in Allentown.
The photo upload site, at www.lehigh.edu/mypics has all of the perks as sites like Snapfish.com and cvs-photo.com offer. From technological tools such as the ability for users can create detailed accounts to store photos, create albums, order prints and order photo books and other gifts, to simple “upload and order” formats, the site offers easy navigation and streamlined service.
Completed orders will be delivered to Printing and Mailing Services, logged in and then delivered to where you normally receive campus mail. This will take up to one day in addition to Dan’s time to produce your order (usually within a day or two of receipt).
This service was the brainchild of Glenn Strause, Director of Printing and Mailing, and Michael Woodland, CEO at Dan’s Camera City. It allows Lehigh’s Printing and Mailing Services the ability to offer this unique service to the community, and also supports a local, family owned small business.
The site was launched on November 1st and is available at www.lehigh.edu/mypics
