Domestic Services

Below are the various domestic delivery options available through Mailing Services. Federal Express and UPS are only available at the mountain top location. Express and Priority Mail services are only available through the Campus Post office. All other USPS services are available at the mountain top location.

Federal Express Priority Overnight

Federal Express Priority Overnight Service delivers to all major ZIP codes by 10:30 a.m. , most others by 3:00 p.m. FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. Box.

Federal Express Standard Overnight

Federal Express Standard Overnight Service delivers to all major ZIP codes by 3:00p.m. FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. Box.

Express Mail

Express Mail is the Postal Services premium service. It is the quickest and most reliable way to send anything through the Postal Service. Additionally, Express mail is the only service that can deliver overnight to a P.O. Box. Among the notable features of Express Mail is weekend and holiday delivery at no added cost. This makes Express Mail the best service to use on Fridays, when items need to be delivered as soon as possible. Express mail includes $500 in insurance at no additional cost. Additional insurance is available but only if the customer goes to the Post Office to mail the item. The problem with Express Mail is not only the high cost, but also that as an overnight service; it is less reliable than Federal Express. Like Federal Express, Express Mail does not guaranteed time sensitive service to extremely rural areas. If there is any doubt, look up the address at the Postal Service website at www.usps.gov and determine if overnight service is available to that particular ZIP Code. USPS items are sent using postage stamps or meter imprint.
