Lehigh's New Mail Delivery System Spotlighted in University Business Article

On June 13, 2013, University Business magazine published an online article about the recent successes of Ricoh's inbound package kiosk solution at Lehigh University's Mail at Campus Square. Celebrating its one year anniversary, Mail at Campus Square has been able to create a more positive experience for students through the use of this system.

The system allows Mail at Campus Square staff to scan packages as they arrive. Upon scanning a package, the system automatically sends a notification to the student telling them that they have a package waiting. Students can visit the mail center at their convenience, scan their ID's, and receive their packages at the front desk in minutes. The system alerts mail center staff that the student has arrived and where their package is located.

The automated process has decreased student waiting times substantially. Executive Director of University Business Services, Mark Ironside, was quoted in the article as saying, "The Ricoh inbound package kiosk solution has dramatically improved our student experience." In addition to improving the student experience, it has improved the mail center staff experience as well.
