WeCar Car Sharing Program Available to Lehigh Faculty and Staff

Parking and Transportation Services strives to offer a variety of transportation options to Lehigh University Students.The WeCar car-sharing program brings a unique service to Lehigh, beyond the typical bus services and regular rental cars.The WeCar vehicles can be “shared” by the hour, day or overnight.The vehicles, which are parked in the Centennial II Lot behind Taylor Gym, are conveniently available 24/7.

Currently, Lehigh has the most successful WeCar program in the state of Pennsylvania.In an effort to continue this, we are waiving the sign-up fee for first year students to encourage sign ups from those that are not permitted to keep a car on campus.We hope the WeCar service allows Lehigh students to feel as if they have access to reliable transportation at all times.

While this is primarily a student service, faculty and staff members are also eligible for membership.Faculty and staff may use WeCar for personal use, while for business use, official Lehigh rental cards are available through Parking and Transportation Services.
