Microsoft Office 2000 installation instructions

We recommend installing all of Office 2000, but if you do not have sufficient space (2.0 GB) you will need Word and Excel for most of the courses. If you have an earlier version of Microsoft Office Installed we recommend upgrading. There are many new features in Microsoft Office 2000 that professors take advantage of

Install Microsoft Office 2000

Place the Microsoft Office 2000 Disk 1 CD in your computer. It will automatically run. If you have the autorun feature turned off on your computer please go to your CD ROM drive and double click on the file “setup.exe”.
1. At the prompts enter your information. Do not enter anything into the CD key it will be automatically entered for you, but not visible.
2. Click Next.
3. When prompted to choose the type of install click on “Install Now” to perform a full install of Office.

Click on Customize to select specific components to be installed if you do not have sufficient space.
4. Follow the prompts.
