2011 Academic Symposium
The 2011 symposium took place on March 29, 2011 in Lehigh’s Zoellner Arts Center’s Baker Hall. The 2011 invited speakers, Civil Engineer Bernard Amadei, Economist Alice Rivlin, Artist Camille Utterback and Chemist George Whitesides, have had influence well beyond the boundaries of those fields. Two are recipients of MacArthur Fellowships and two are members of the National Academies. Each has inspired, created, and served.
We were also inspired by, and took pride in, the achievements of our students, whose work was exhibited in the media or manner of presentation most suitable to their fields.
