By following the modified USEPA method 1622, it has been established that the majority of Cryptosporidium genotypes detected year-round are human pathogens, with the highest occurrence of Cryptosporidium during the summer months.
Kevin Myers is a senior at Lehigh University majoring in environmental engineering. He is a P.C. Rossin Junior Fellow and a member of Chi Epsilon. Kevin has worked on four publications of the Lehigh University yearbook, The Epitome, and is currently the Co-Editor in Chief. He has been a member of Engineers Without Borders for four years, and has traveled to the project location in Honduras twice which stimulated his interest in environmental engineering and public health. Kevin will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall to pursue his Master of Science in Public Health.
