Course Descriptions

201. Legal Environment of Business:   The study of the legal relationships of business and government, business and society and the individual and society. The case method is used to develop analytical skills. Introduction to contract law and the law of sales underlying the free market system. Prerequisite: ECO 1.  Online section requires use of Blackboard, High Speed Connection, and Elluminate Sessions.

202.  Business Law:  The law of agency, business organizations, secured transactions, bankruptcy and negotiable instruments.  Prerequisite:  LAW 201.  Online section requires use of Blackboard, High Speed Connection, and Elluminate Sessions.

 

*Blackboard is the online course management system used at Lehigh.  Access to Blackboard requires a Lehigh computing account.

*Elluminate is a web-based conferencing tool that allows professors to hold live sessions with the class.  Students must have speakers and a microphone or a headset to participate.
