Steven L. Regen was born December 27, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY. He received an A.B. degree from Rutgers University in 1968 and a Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (with G. M. Whitesides) in 1972. He was a member of the faculty at Marquette University from 1972 to 1985. He joined the Department of Chemistry of Lehigh University in 1985. He is now a University Distinguished Professor.

Research Interests

Current research interests include: bioorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, materials science, Langmuir-Blodgett films, self-assembly and biomembrane structure.
