The LU Ropes Course:
The Ultimate in Experiential Leadership Training

The Division of Student Affairs and the Office of Student Leadership Development are excited to welcome you to one of the newest additions to our leadership development initiatives. The Lehigh Ropes Course Project is one that has been underway since the 2003-2004 academic year. During that time, in-depth research has been done on the course's ability to provide students and student organizations with a "Best in Class" outdoor leadership training experience focused on enhancing skills related to decision-making, communication, and team dynamics. We believe that the intentional learning and experiential opportunities associated with this initiative will be integral in the further leadership development of all Ropes Course participants.

As another part of this exciting endeavor, the Low Ropes Course was completely renovated and updated in Summer, 2005. The course has all new state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained professional and student facilitators prepared to help you and your group get the most out of your Ropes Course experience. Operations for the Low Ropes Course are in full swing, and we anticipate the opening of a High Ropes Course in the future.
