Altitude is a student-run leadership conference designed to engage college students from Eastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. Student participants are challenged to see the potential they have to reach great heights through continuous leadership education and development. The core philosophy of Altitude is to empower students to take personal responsibility for their leadership development by providing them with resources, strategies and practical skills that will enable them to face new and evolving leadership challenges. Students will have the opportunity to network with presenters and other participants to understand real world leadership experiences and strategize the best way for a leader to navigate the higher altitudes of leadership development as they ascend to their personal peak of performance!
This year’s theme is Discovering Your True Leadership Potential: An Exploration of Leadership in Our Ever-Changing World. The focus of Altitude this year is exploring the many different aspects of leadership necessary to succeed in today’s society. This year we hope to highlight certain hot topics in leadership including; Leadership in a Technological Society, Leadership in a Diverse World, Being an Ethical Leader in a Changing World and Branding Yourself in a Globalized World. Ideally, all Altitude participants will leave with new and enhanced leadership skills that they can immediately put to use on their campuses and in other aspects of their lives.
