The Altitude planning committee wants you to speak at the Altitude Conference on March 2, 2013 at Lehigh University.
Altitude is an entirely student-run conference that provides a unique experience that couples leadership education with student networking for students and advisors across the Northeast. The core philosophy of Altitude is to empower students to take personal responsibility for their leadership development by providing them with resources, strategies, and practical skills that will enable them to face new and evolving challenges on their campus.
This year’s theme is Innovative Leadership: Connecting Creativity and Imagination to Leadership Potential. The focus of Altitude this year is to create an atmosphere where eager students can connect with each other and professionals to learn about innovative leadership practices and strategies. Ideally, this student experience will spark discussions that will drive change in the various communities that are represented.
If you are enthusiastic about leadership and want to pass the fire along to others, please consider presenting a program at this conference. Workshop content should be created to fit the theme of Innovative Leadership.
If you are uncertain that your program fits into the theme of Innovative Leadership we still encourage you to submit what you are passionate about with regard to leadership to ensure that we have options for all students with varying interests.
All programs are to be 45 minutes in length. Please utilize the Call for Programs Proposal form when submitting your workshop proposals. The form can be found here. We ask that all workshop proposals be submitted by Friday, February 8, 2013. Presenters will be notified of the status of their program by Friday, February 15, 2013.
Please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions regarding Altitude and workshop presentations.
