Campus Involvement & Leadership
Campus Involvement and Leadership is a group of departments within the Dean of Students Office designed to help students get the most out of their Lehigh experience. First and foremost, we are here to help students explore interests and hobbies, develop new skills, and find their place within the Lehigh community. We offer community service and leadership development opportunities, and we work with over 150 clubs and organizations in which students can become involved. Our primary objective is to assist all students in linking these experiences to their academic course work and future personal and professional goals in meaningful and educational ways.
We also hope that through our offices, students will find and participate in a variety of healthy and fun social and educational programs. We host and co-sponsor a variety of speakers, concerts, comedians, and cultural events on campus. We sincerely believe that if you engage in these programs or work with our staff to plan these events, your time at Lehigh will truly be enriched. Most importantly, we invite you to challenge yourself: Become involved in new and different experiences, take time to serve your community, and find ways to enhance your leadership capabilities so that in turn you can help others and create positive change all around you.
My staff and I are always open to new types of programs and opportunities, so if you have not found the activity you are looking for, or have interest in starting a new club, planning a community service outing, or developing a new leadership program, don't hesitate to contact us! We look forward to helping you become effective leaders and active citizens, and we are excited to partner with you to create a vibrant social life at Lehigh!
