Spotlight: Hunger and Homlessness T-Shirts
Over 90% of kids in South Bethlehem are on free & reduced school lunches. With the national poverty rate over 14%, hunger and homelessness are real
issues in not only our nation, but in our community. You have the power to change the social tragedies happening in your backyard.

The Community Service Office is excited to announce the first PNO of the

PNO brings local kids on campus from low income families for a night of
free food, fun, games, and great role models - that's YOU! The event runs

Helping Hands Across America
This year, Sodexo is continuing our mission of giving back to the
communities we serve by implementing our company-wide Helping Hands Across
America initiative. Lehigh Dining has worked with smaller shelters in
South side Bethlehem in the past, but each year we do at least one main
promotion to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.
College Mentors Needed!
Tabor Children’s Services is looking for college faculty and staff to volunteer to mentor adolescent foster youth through the college application
process in the Lehigh Valley area. This could include SAT prep, help with essays, and financial aid guidance. These youth often have little or no
family support. The time requirement is a few flexible hours a week and Tabor staff provides support throughout the process.
Northeast Ministry
Northeast Ministry is a social service non-profit organization that has been serving the needs of individuals living in the public housing development
of Northeast Bethlehem for thirty years. Our primary focus is helping the children living in the Marvine Pembroke community reach their potential in
life and break the cycle of dependence. We offer an afterschool program and a seven week summer program for the children in the development.
