Centennial School Practicum / Internship

The practicum in Counseling Psychology is a joint endeavor between the faculty of Centennial School and the Counseling Psychology Program at Lehigh University.  The practicum experience is designed to prepare future counseling psychologists for school settings and counseling agencies.

The practicum in Counseling Psychology at Centennial School allows graduate students in Counseling Psychology to gain skills in individual and group counseling situations with youngsters who are at high risk for school failure. The practicum experience is designed to provide interns with intensive supervision to guide them toward the acquisition of critical skills for successful participation in schools.

Master's level graduate students receive on-site supervision from a doctoral intern in Counseling Psychology who is in turn supervised by the faculty of the Counseling Psychology Program at Lehigh University.  Additional on-site supervision and support is provided by the Director and administrative team of Centennial School.
