Mission Statement for Centennial School

The goals for Doctoral Students in the Centennial Internship in Counseling Psychology are as follows:

  • Develop knowledge and skills in the application of clinical supervision.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in the performance of individual and group counseling with youngsters who are high risk for school failure.
  • Develop knowledge and skill in the performance of career counseling using individual and group formats.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in program evaluation including counselor trainee evaluation, counseling process and outcome evaluation, and future needs assessment.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in relation to communication with school personnel.

The goals for Graduate Level Interns include the following:

  • Develop knowledge and skills in the performance of individual and group counseling with youngsters who are high risk of school failure.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in the performance of career counseling using individual and group formats.
