Centennial School of Lehigh University recognizes that the preparation of highly qualified educators is the key to serving children and youth in the new century.
Students interested in pursuing careers in
- school psychology
- child clinical psychology
- teaching
- special education
will find Centennial School offers a variety of excellent career preparation experiences.
Specifically we offer practictum / internships for
- undergraduate psychology students
- volunteer experiences for students to learn more about special education
- applied experiences through graduate class projects that are designed to complement graduate classes and foster the healthy development of all children
ORIENTATION MEETINGS
Anyone interested in these career experiences should plan to attend one of two orientation meetings at Centennial School of Lehigh University that are scheduled in the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. The meetings are approximately 1 hour in length and will include:
- an overview of Centennial School
- a school tour
- completion of required forms

In addition, please download copies of the other required forms and our policies and procedures and bring the documents to the orientation meeting.
INFORMATION ABOUT CENTENNIAL SCHOOL
REQUIRED PAPERWORK
Items that should be completed before attending an orientation meeting at Centennial are listed below and are available from the Centennial School Business Manager.
- Child abuse form
- Criminal Clearance form
All volunteers, interns or students who intend to complete class projects will receive an electronic schedule for their activities which will be sent electronically to each individual approximately 2 to 3 weeks after the orientation meeting. If you do not hear about your schedule within that timeframe or have other questions, please contact Jennifer Crall at Centennial School via e-mail at jmcb@lehigh.edu. |
