Business and Technology Development Program

The overriding goal of the Business and Technology Development Program (BTDP) is to provide technical assistance to small businesses navigating the "technology space" of the commercial marketplace. This program is tied into the Product Development Center at Bucknell University and the Integrated Product Development Center at Lehigh University.

By assisting clients with navigating the "technology space" the program conducts patent searches, analyzes the market and commercial potential of innovative products and methods, and provides technical services such as prototyping and valuation. All of these services are offered to clients of the SBDC and are conducted in conjunction with other consultants and programs.
