Online Seminar: The First Step
The Lehigh University SBDC offers information on how to start your business in two formats, an online course and a seminar presented by an instructor (Flyer - PDF). Both formats cover the basic steps in starting a business which include:
1. Assessing yourself as a businessperson
2. Evaluating your business idea in the marketplace
3. Writing a Business Plan
4. Finding financing
Our Recommended Program
We would encourage you to first review the online course. You are also invited to attend the 2 hour live seminar presentation covering the steps to starting a business. Most seminars take place at the Rauch Business Center at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. The online course and the live seminar presentation offer a wealth of information on starting your business. For many of you, it may prove sufficient to get you started. Although, if you find you would still like additional help you can request service from us or contact the SBDC in your area.
