Gryphons
- Gryphon
Selection occurs outside of the Housing Process.
- If
you are selected as a Gryphon, you will receive your placement and a
Housing and Meal Plan Contract with your offer letter from the Office
of Residence Life.
- If
you are placed on the Alternate List to be a Gryphon, you should
continue through a Housing Process until you are offered a Gryphon
position.
Gryphon Roommates
- Gryphons
placed
in Brodhead, Campus Square, Sayre Park Village, and Trembley Park
apartments may select students to live with them. If Gryphons do not
select their roommates, students will be assigned as the spaces are
needed.
- Sign
the
Gryphon Roommate Agreement which will be given to the Gryphon with
their offer letter. The Gryphon Roommate Agreement is due on
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 returned with the Gryphon's Contract and
Housing Contract. to the Residence Life Office.
- Residential
Services will be emailing all Gryphon roommates information for
completing an on-line Housing and Meal Plan Contract between March
4-8, 2013.
- If
you
have already signed a Housing and Meal Plan Contract for Live
Lehigh! or Special Interest Housing, the assignment on the Housing
and Meal Plan Contract which is already on file will be changed to
reflect your new assignment.
- Roommates
who
are rising 3rd, 4th, & 5th year
students must also pay a $400 Housing Deposit or sign a Payment
Commitment at that same time.
- You
should
continue through a Housing Process until you sign a Gryphon Roommate
Agreement.
RHA
Executive Board
- Students
who
are elected to the RHA Executive Board will receive priority housing
in whichever Housing Process they choose to participate in.
- RHA Executive Board members can self select
to live in any residential space which is available within the housing
process they participate in.
- They
must
follow all steps and guidelines within the selected Housing Process.
- Anyone
who
does not follow the appropriate steps will jeopardize their priority
housing and potentially jeopardize their on-campus housing.
RHA
Executive
Board Roommates
- If a RHA Executive Board member self selects
to live in a residential space which is larger than single occupancy,
they will also select their roommate(s). If
RHA Executive members do not select their roommate(s), students will
be assigned as the spaces are needed.
- Any student living with a RHA Executive Board
member is required to sign the RHA Roommate Agreement once housing is
selected.
- The
RHA Roommate Agreement will be sent to the RHA Executive Board member
after housing is selected.
