Class of 2017
5x10 Programs: Every first-year student must attend five programs corresponding to the Five Foundations of Student Success in the first ten weeks of the semester. We are nearing the end of these first 10 weeks! Here is a list of program that are being offered.
evoLUtion Seminar: Throughout the first semester, students attend evoLUtion seminars on a weekly basis. Now halfway through the experience, the students are well into working on projects to explore Lehigh and Bethlehem. For more information, check out here.
OFYE will be hosting two information sessions to help new
students navigate the registration process. These
information sessions will be held on Friday, November 1st at
1:00 PM in UC303 and Monday, November 4th at 5:15 PM in
Gryphon Applications: Is your student looking for a great leadership opportunity on campus? Gryphoning is a wonderful opportunity to develop and polish leadership skills through interacting with residents, professional staff members and faculty. Applications are available October 16th via the HUB (located through the Student Life website). Information about applying to become a Gryphon is available on the Residence Life website.
Weekend: Family Weekend is taking place October 18-20.

Live Lehigh: Lehigh's Live Lehigh communities are student-initiated themed housing options for upper class students (for example, current options include a Green House (sustainable living), Music Appreciation, and Outdoor Adventure just to name a few). The complete list of current communities can be found here. If you are interested in starting your own Live Lehigh community, the application will be available October 21st on the Residence Life website. If you are interested in signing up for an already existing community, sign-ups will begin on November 11th through the Residence Life website.
Fire Safety Week: Fire Safety Week will
be October 28th through November1st. Gryphons will be posting
a bulletin board created by Residential Services staff to help
promote fire safety awareness on campus. Additionally we will
be using social media to better educate our students about

Pacing Break is upon us and Thanksgiving Break is right
around the corner. Buildings will remain open for Packing
and Thanksgiving Breaks. Buildings will close for Semester
and Spring Breaks. For more information about break housing,
Class Registration: Registration for the spring semester is coming up at the beginning of November. Upper class students will be able to register starting November 4th. First-year registration begins shortly thereafter. Please have your student check the Registrar's website for more information as the date gets closer. The Registrar's Office has released the final exam schedule
for this semester. It can be found here. You can now help your student
make his/her travel plans. Don't forget to consult the
Residential Services housing calendar to make sure you are
planning around when the buildings open and close.
Lehigh students just finished their first round of Four
O'clock exams-Lehigh's version of midterms. Another round of
exams will occur the first week of November. You can find
