Preregistration for Spring 2010: November 9-20, 2009
WHAT IS MY CURRENT CLASSIFICATION ? * NOTE: This classification refers to current classification, not your status after Fall, 2009. You are scheduled to register for classes based on your current classification. However, if on the web page under “check your registration status” you see a different classification, this is not an error. This classification is calculated to include current in-progress classes as passed. This status enables students that will be in a different class at the end of the term to register for courses that have a specific class standing as a registration restriction. High School Scholars, GCD, LVAIC and ROTC students may not register via the web. Students who have recently transferred credit or had any removals of incomplete grades from a prior semester which effects their classification must come to the Registrar’s Office to have their registration status updated. WILL I BE ASSIGNED A LATE FEE? Course registration begins Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Web registration closes Tuesday, November 24, at the close of business at 4:45 p.m. Web registration will be closed during Thanksgiving break. Web registration will reopen Monday, WHERE CAN I GET UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON HOW TO REGISTER AND HOW TO GET READY FOR REGISTRATION? INSTRUCTIONS FOR WEB ENABLED REGISTRATION ARE AVAILABLE BY VISITING THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE HOME PAGE or directly at: http://www.lehigh.edu/~inrgs/bannerweb.shtml CAN LEHIGH UNIVERSITY CHANGE MY SCHEDULE? CLASS AVAILABILITY AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE Lehigh University reserves the right in its sole judgment to amend any policy or program described herein without prior notice to persons who might thereby by affected. At its sole options, the University may eliminate courses or sections, academic departments, or degree programs; change curricular offerings, graduation requirements, and regulations on standing of students, alter its class schedule and academic calendar; or make changes of any nature whenever in its judgment such changes are desirable for any reason. Lehigh University reserves the right to adjust a student’s schedule and time assignment of classes to meet university guidelines, balance sections, or addition or deletion of sections. NOTE: Students registering for a course requiring Department Approval, Junior Writing Intensive in the Arts College, or Apprentice Teaching approval must obtain appropriate signatures on the course registration form or from the department on line and have the completed Apprentice Teaching contract on file in the Registrar’s Office. FAILURE TO OBTAIN THE PROPER PERMISSION, YOUR ADVISOR SUPPLIED REGISTRATION/ALTERNATE PIN, OVERRIDES, OR FOLLOW PROCEDURES WILL RESULT IN THE COURSE NOT APPEARING ON THE STUDENT'S INDIVIDUAL SCHEDULE. Reminder – Undergraduate students who would like a grade report mailed to their homes must make that request in writing (no email requests accepted) to the Registrar’s Office each semester. If you have not already made that request and would like a hardcopy, the fastest way is to login to the Student Self Service menu on the Portal and request a transcript and select end of term handling.
