ALAN J. SNYDER, VICE PRESIDENT AND ASSOCIATE PROVOST FOR RESEARCH AND GRADUATE STUDIES
Lehigh's distinguished faculty researchers and inquisitive students contribute to the academic vitality of this campus. The Office of the Vice President and Associate Provost for Research and Graduate Studies is here to champion the great research, scholarship and creative work transpiring across the university. We provide support for these dedicated researchers as they make valuable discoveries, bring theory to practice and address the multidimensional problems facing today's society.
Our office aims to encourage interdisciplinary exchange by providing an academic environment characterized by rich exchange among disciplines. We also strive to support our researchers as they compete for the funding necessary to move ideas forward. And we work collaboratively with departments and offices across the university to expand the scope and reach of our research.
Graduate studies at Lehigh play a vital role in helping to train our next generation of leaders and scholars. We provide support and direction for graduate programs to ensure that graduate students receive a distinctive experience during their time at Lehigh and are prepared to make valuable contributions as a community of accomplished learners.
I encourage you to explore the exciting research conducted every day by our scholars, both here on our campus and in the world at large.
