Research Interests
My current research interests are centered in the cognitive processes of attentional control. In particular I am interested in the way in which environmental information and personal goals combine to shape performance. I am also interested in the extent to which we are aware of the factors shaping our behavior and how this knowledge influences functioning. I am currently working in Dr. Kate Arrington’s Attention & Cognitive Control Lab where I am using the voluntary task-switching paradigm to examine the influence of working memory load on task choice.
