Research Interests
I am interested in the cognition that underlies naming and categorization of artifacts in discourse contexts. Ideas I’ll be working with: what factors may influence name extension, how original intended category affects name choice, to what extent people may subscribe to a psychological essentialism with regard to artifacts.
