Research Interests
Social cognition; stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination; social orientation; self-regulation.
My current research focuses on the explanations that people use to make sense of the behaviors and outcomes of others, and how the types of explanations an individual characteristically employs relate to that individual’s social orientation (e.g., compassion, forgiveness).
