Introducing Lehigh's New Faculty ePortfolio System

Lyterati is an electronic storage system that allows faculty members to record their accomplishments in the areas of research, teaching and service and is used for generating faculty Professional Activity Reports (PAR). The system will also be used for reappointments, promotion and tenure, annual reviews and triennial reviews.

PAR Timeline

The PAR timeline is as follows:

September 20, 2017 – is currently scheduled for PAR 2015-2017 to open.  Throughout the year, faculty members can manually add or update information through Manage My Data > Update Manually.  The pdf file of PAR 2014-2016 is located in My Annual Reports > Prior Annual Reports.

January 15, 2018 – Faculty final deadline for submitting PAR 2015-2017.

February 2, 2018 – Department Chair final deadline for submitting reviews and ratings for all PAR 2015-2017 for their respective department to the dean.

March 2, 2018 – Dean final deadline for submitting their reviews and ratings of PAR 2015-2017 for their respective colleges.

March 31, 2018 – PAR 2015-2017 will close.

First Reappointment (R1)

The first reappointment (R1) module is now open. It is designed for online dossier review and evaluation and is a document upload/download module, with a secure, role-based electronic workflow.

Training sessions have been held for R1 faculty candidates, College Level Administrators (CLADs), and Deans, Department Chairs, and Special Committee Chairs.  The First Reappointment Review Schedule for Faculty Appointed in Fall 2016 remains the same.

The R1 training materials have been uploaded within the Lyterati system and can be found under the Resources tab. The training materials are also available on the provost site.

Data Load Timelines

Data loads from Banner to Lyterati are done on a routine basis to aid in the maintenance of the system.

faculty names, contact information,
administrative and academic appointments
once a semester
courses taught with some course
evaluation data
four times a year - after fall, winter, spring and summer semesters
grants and proposals once a month
academic and research advising once a semester
