The knowledge and technology developed through the research projects of the Center are transferred to the participating member companies through a multitude of mechanisms. The semi-annual meetings, in which the students and research staff of the Center present their most recent research results, both successful and unsuccessful, represent the earliest formal step of knowledge transfer.
The annual progress reports distributed to the participants
at the semi-annual meetings represent a more detailed technical
record of the research efforts during the last year. Industrial
participants often consult the reports in order to understand,
use, and further develop the research results of the Center's efforts.
