University Relations
The Department of University Relations includes the offices of university communications, external relations, design and internet services. Our goals and priorities during the academic year are to:
- Establish a strong marketing position for the University and the associated key messages in support of institutional goals and priorities, and to continually reinforce these messages with both internal and external constituencies.
- Partner with admissions to develop, execute and implement an effective marketing program for undergraduate student recruitment and with the colleges to implement marketing programs in support of graduate student recruitment.
- Provide targeted marketing support to engage alumni in the university enterprise -- as benefactors, volunteers and mentors.
- Build and strengthen our institutional image through consistent reinforcement of key messages and visual identity. Strive to increase national and international visibility by promoting key messages in designated international and national targeted areas.
