SEF elects Bernard Zavatone '93 to board

Bernard Zavatone ’93 was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF).

Founded in 1999, the SEF is a non-profit organization that assists energy users in overcoming educational, financial and regulatory barriers to a sustainable energy future. The organization aids small businesses financially to reduce the consumption of energy from non-sustainable resources and aims to create education programs to promote an understanding and passion for sustainable energy.

Zavatone has worked at Bethlehem-based FLSmidth Inc. for over 20 years, working as Sales Manager, General Manager and currently serves as Director of the Pneumatic Transportation Department.

Zavatone holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University.
