Connections Program Update, FAQs, and Information Sessions |

Dear Lehigh Faculty and Staff, Earlier this month, we wrote to you about forthcoming changes to the Lehigh University parking and transportation system. We wanted to follow up with more specific information and to share responses to the most common questions we’ve received through the feedback mechanism we provided. As we noted in our first campus communication, each of the new programs and changes that are outlined in the Connections plan will be critical to the success of the expansive Path to Prominence Plan and our long-standing goal of a more sustainable, healthy, and vibrant Lehigh campus. They are also essential to accommodating a growing student population, additional staff, and increased academic and research programs. We pledge to keep you informed as we move through this process. We appreciate the fact that many of you reached out with important follow-up questions. While we understand that there are many variables depending on roles, job responsibilities, locations and other circumstances, we are hopeful that we are addressing the broader issues that have been raised over the last two weeks. We are sharing the most commonly asked questions and responses here. In an effort to maintain transparency and keep the lines of communication open with faculty and staff, we are planning a series of informational sessions that will be led by Facilities Services and Campus Planning and Transportation and Parking Services. These sessions are designed to provide you with additional information related to the specific parking and transportation programs offered, provide the opportunity for program-specific questions, and guide you as you make your future parking and transportation plans. These sessions will be offered throughout the fall semester, and will provide Connections program-specific information. They will be limited to 50 people.
