Summer Job Opportunities
During the summer months, the Office of Conference and Special Housing Services employs approximately twenty students in a variety of positions. During the summer of 2013, the Campus Square D lounge area will be used as the location for the summer conference main desk operation. The desk is staffed seven days a week. During the course of the summer, the university hosts over 50 camps and conferences and several thousand conference guests. We are most interested in students who have leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to interact well with others, as well as a strong commitment to customer service. General requirements for the above positions are as follows:
- Available to work from May 13, 2013 through August 19, 2013
- Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Attend the conference training workshop and all staff meetings
- Participate in a rotating evening and weekend on-call schedule, which is covered by the two supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising staff
General Timeline is as follows
