Gaurav Gulati, CMSE certificate
Gaurav Gulati, a graduate of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Graduate Program, earned a certificate of completion from the Center for Manufacturing Systems Engineering in June 2005.
Manufacturing Systems Engineering courses provide excellent exposure to real-time industrial problems. The course material and the class environment create positive and interesting discussions that draw on the industrial experience of the students in the class to benefit all. Project work complements the theoretical concepts that we learned in class. Projects encourage team work and were one of the most enjoyable parts of the courses as well. Furthermore, working in teams with students from companies like GM and Ingersoll Rand, provided an opportunity to learn about the work cultures of these companies. Apart from the valuable knowledge I gained, I was able to make some very good friends.
"Before coming to Lehigh, I completed my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by approximately one and a half years of work at S.S.S. Tooling Pvt. Ltd., a tool manufacturing company in India. While pursuing a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, I received a certificate of completion through the Center for Manufacturing Systems Engineering in June 2005."
