Tuition and Fees - A minimum 30 credit hours of registration is required for the Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering degree. The P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science graduate tuition is $1,100 per credit hour for the 2008-09 academic year .

Admission Requirements & Program Prerequisites - Candidates for the MSE program should have a B.S. degree in an engineering discipline or applied science (e.g., physics, chemistry). This degree must be from an accredited college or university. A GPA of at least 2.75 out of 4.0 is required for regular admission. GRE (with score at or above 75th percentile) is recommended and may be required of candidates. International candidates must present TOEFL scores of at least 620 or 260 on the new computer-scored test and GRE scores above the 75th percentile. Strong verbal skills are essential.

  • Students entering the MSE Program are expected to have knowledge and skills in probability and statistics, as well as computer programming.
  • Industry Experience - A minimum of six months industrial work experience is essential for all program participants, prior to beginning course work.

Financial Aid - Currently the Center does not have financial aid available for student support.

Flexibility - Part-time students can complete the MSE degree requirements in two years. MSE classes are conveniently scheduled and offered on-campus, via web, and broadcast through Lehigh's distance-education program.
