Phillips 420 TEM

This TEM is solely for use in undergraduate teaching. The undergraduate curriculum in Materials Science and Engineering is especially rich in practical and hands-on activities. These include classes and research projects in which the students actually learn to operate the microscopes themselves, rather than watch someone else do it. It operates at up 120kV and is equipped with EDS and EELS.
