Student Organizations
Lehigh's engineering students are active in a wide range of activities, from professional associations to the arts. Organizations in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics include:
Aerospace Club: The Aerospace Club is a student run organization where the group members design and construct model airplanes that are then brough to various competitions.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers: Premier organization for promoting the art, science and practice of mechanical engineering throughout the world.
Lehigh Mini-Baja: The Mini-Baja Team is a student project associated with the Lehigh SAE. The goal of the team is to design and build an all-terrain vehicle to compete in a race with other universities.
Lehigh Motorsports: Lehigh Motorsports is a Formula SAE team that builds third generation formula style race cars that compete every year in the SAE Competition.
