Lehigh's non-print collection is located primarily in the Media Center, room 370 on the lower level of the Fairchild-Martindale Library. The collection consists largely of videocassettes and DVDs; there are also 16mm films and some audio tapes. The entire collection can be searched through ASA, Lehigh’s on-line catalog or, more quickly, from the Media Collections Search Page.
We purchase several hundred new titles each year. Faculty and staff may use the Video Request Form to ask for additions to the media collection, or to reserve materials for classes or other events. Materials may be held on reserve (see below) for viewing in either the IMRC or the Media Center. For additional assistance, email Elaine Kovacs at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact her at 8x5021.
Circulation and Loan Policy
Faculty can place videotapes and DVD’s on reserve for by using the Video Request Form, or calling Elaine Kovacs (85021, email@example.com). Reserve length can be as long or short as the instructor wishes. Materials on reserve do not circulate and must be viewed in the Media Center, either in the classrooms or the viewing stations. Faculty may also place their own material on reserve for use within the Media Center.
