Audio : Archive
An archived audio file should be as close as possible to its original form (i.e. minimal compression, format changes, etc.) and should be stored on some durable or secure (i.e. backed up) medium.
For archiving audio we recommend backing up the original recording or any lossless or uncompressed audio format.
Standard format: A linear PCM 16-bit 48kHz .wav file.
