Nicholas C. Strandwitz Research
Our research group is focused on solving problems associated with conversion of solar energy into electricity and fuels as well as other optoelectronic devices. Our work bridges basic and applied science in materials science, chemistry, and physics and focuses on understanding and manipulating the bulk and interfacial properties of inorganic solids. We are actively developing methods to grow inorganic semiconductors and control interfacial electronic and chemical properties. We are looking for new graduate and undergraduate researchers to join our lab.
