SUSPENSION
The primary goal of the 2011/2012 suspension was to eliminate rod ends and bending. In previous years
this technique had been used, however rod ends are designed for linear stresses rather than shear stresses.
The new suspension features ball joints, which are designed to withstand the necessary shear forces
it will experience. One issue with the current suspension design is that it does not provide enough rear travel,
so the team is actively working to solve this issue.
