The 2011 frame is being used again for the 2012 car. The frame tubing has a larger outer diameter (1.25") compared to previous years. The larger diameter allows for thinner walled tubing resulting in a 30% reduction in weight over past cars. The frame was designed by Josh Kauffman. Individual members were cut, bent and prepped by Jamie Hart and Mike Yanosik, and then welded together by team captain, Alex Klinger.
