Come join the Lehigh University BAJA SAE team for another fun year of innovation, design, and construction! 2009 will be the third year for the current team and an entirely new vehicle will be constructed.

WHAT IS BAJA SAE?

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) sponsors several design events ranging from aeronautical to unmanned vehicles, and formula to off-road. BAJA SAE is SAE’s take-off from the actual BAJA 1000 held in Mexico scaled down to a personal all-terrain vehicle that must pass a thorough technical and safety inspection as well as compete in a series of static and dynamic events, and finally a grueling 4 hour endurance race.

Meetings will be held at Mohler Lab 142 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00pm.
