Come join the Lehigh University BAJA SAE team for another fun year of innovation, design, and construction! 2012 will be the sixth year for the current team and the 2011 car will be modified.The competition will be held in Auburn, Alabama on April 19-22, 2012.

WHAT IS BAJA SAE?

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) sponsors several student design events ranging from aeronautical to unmanned vehicles, and formula to off-road. BAJA SAE is SAE’s take-off from the actual BAJA 1000 held in Mexico scaled down to a personal all-terrain vehicle. At each of the three competitions held nationwide every year, 100+ teams from all over the world compete in the BAJA SAE competions. Teams must pass a thorough technical and safety inspection as well as compete in a series of static and dynamic events, and finally a grueling 4 hour endurance race.

MEETINGS

Meetings will be held in the Mohler Lab Shop on Friday's at 10:30am and Saturdays at 1:00pm.
