Mission Statement

LU Sound is a student run organization that encourages students to help other students in learning about Professional Audio Concepts and Practices, Professional Audio Operation and Maintenance, teamwork, and cooperation.

What is LU Sound?

LU Sound provides live sound, at a reasonable cost, for student groups for on-campus events. We have been hired by such groups as University Productions (UP), fraternities, sororities, Late Night Lehigh, and other university clubs.

We are sponsored by the Dean of Students and function through the Student Activities Office in the Ulrich Student Center. LU Sound was created not only to provide live sound support, but also to help students who have an interest in sound technology become familiar with the equipment, vocabulary, and companies of the sound industry.
