The iPad Project In fall 2011, the Lehigh Lab began a multi-year research project evaluating how iPads can be used in higher education classrooms. The project is currently testing how the iPads can support annotation, research, multimedia storytelling, augmented reality, collaborative presentations, and instructor feedback in a variety of disciplines, including Philosophy, Journalism, Education, and English.

E-Textbooks: The LTS E-Textbook Project is designed to explore innovative ways to license, create or customize course texts in a digital publishing environment. We are interested in supporting professors who wish to introduce digital content into their classes, and in discovering how student learning activities -- reading, self-assessments, writing, watching, editing, annotating, sharing, and archiving – are substantively changed by digital content.

Documentary Film Production Support: An increasing number of faculty at Lehigh are developing courses and assignments in which students create video projects. Lehigh's Documentary Resource Team supports such projects and we works closely with faculty, offering production expertise, instruction for students, course development assistance, advice on equipment needs, etc.

TRAC (Technology, Research and Communication) Writing Fellows Program: The Lehigh Lab is helping support Lehigh’s TRAC Writing Fellows program. The program selects and trains talented undergraduates to work as writing fellows in courses in disciplines across the university. The idea is that the Writing Fellows will be resources to faculty during the development and design of assignments and will then hold conferences with students who are working on paper drafts.
