Financial Support

Student trainees participating in this project receive a generous financial support package. This package includes a stipend of $1,000/month for 10 months as well as 30 credits per year of tuition (fall, spring, and summer semesters) at $14,400, for a total of $24,400 of support per year.

As required by the U.S Department of Education, students who receive financial support from this project must sign a written agreement that indicates they will work in the field of education after completion of their degree for a period of two years for each year they receive support. Failure to fulfill this obligation will require that the student return to the U.S. Department of Education all monies paid in stipend and tuition. Lehigh University as a recipient of the grant is obligated to follow-up all students activities and report outcomes to the U.S. Department of Education.
