Intuitive Design
-
-
Web pages,
like TV screens, flash at a level beneath perception.
Therefore, they are not appropriate for extensive content.
If a document is lengthy, it should be buried in an internal
layer, so that it can be printed out.
-
A Web Page
should not be overly busy. (See.)
-
It should
not have more information than it needs to organize
the next layer down. Here is a good example of "too much."
-
Graphics should
be tailored for web-readiness. If any element takes
too long a time to load, something hasn't been done correctly.
-
Web pages
should be attractive and appealing.
-
Design should
be integral throughout.
-
The fonts
should be readable, both in size, shape and color
contrast against the background. Light against dark is not
readable.
