Grant Opportunities for IMI International Exchange

The international exchange of both students and faculty is considered to be integral part of our mission to foster international collaboration and synergy around the common theme of new functionality in glasses. Grants are available to assist US and international students, post-docs and faculty with travel and/or living expenses during such exchanges. The grants are awarded from submitted proposals based on their relevance to the IMI's goals of developing new glasses with new functionality and training young professionals for careers in glass. Four separate types of exchange programs are supported by the IMI for New Functionality in Glass.

Research Exchanges (RE) for graduate students, post docs and faculty

Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Glass in Lehigh University or Penn State University and Abroad
