Dr. Desai's research interests are in the areas of global optimizaton/nonconvex analysis, mixed-integer nonlinear programming, optimization in decision analysis, optimization in transportation networks, semidefinite programming, and optimization software. In addition to his Ph.D., his Master of Science is from Virginia Tech, and his bachelor's degree is from Indian Institute of Technology - Madras. Dr. Desai joined the I.S.E. faculty in 2007.
